I just came across this thread, Funny Things I Came Across.
For some reason, earlier today I remembered something that was on CBC radio, years back. It was very funny, and I'd
like to come across it. I don't know if it's origin was Canadian or American. I'd like to find it online, but so far haven't been able to locate an audio file, if one still exists.
It was a spoof, voicing done very well
... Elvis Presley is alive, working as a radio interview host. On this occasion, he's doing an interview with British singer/songwriter Sting (who became popular 25 years after the real Elvis did). Elvis welcomes Sting and begins asking questions, and Sting gives musing, soft-spoken answers—sort of longish, ruminative ones. The mic is live, and we can hear Elvis, distracted, pestering the studio sound engineer about whether the pizzas he's ordered have arrived yet. On it goes from there.
