Future Predictions

I don't know if this topic fits in this thread but I will post it either way.

I have found an article about a blind Bulgarian old-lady that predicted the future. She predicted WWII, the beginning and the end, 9/11, the Chernobyl chemical disaster, the day Stalin would day, and her own death.
Now I am not saying I believe in this stuff but it is very interesting to read. I was a history professor and the basis of human kind is that HISTORY will repeat itself over and over again. Now taking this into account plus other human behavioral factors, I actually do believe that some of her predictions will come true. Some are just bull, but there is a grain of truth in them

Take a look here->

Here's the video... I suspect there's some truth in some of it, but like rasputin I'm sure much of it is invented..however here's one part of 4 videos filmed before Baba Vanga died in the mid 90's

Here also are some predictions she supposedly made which didn't come to pass

Some of her "short term" predictions may be quite possible.....examples....

2018...China is already rapidly gaining on equaling and even surpassing the U.S. as the global economic power.

2023....Earths orbit undergoes a change. Perhaps, but a more present danger is massive solar flares which could wipe out much of our power grids, etc.

2025...Europe will undergo serious Demographic issues. That is already happening, with increased Middle Eastern/African migration into Europe. European/Caucasian birthrates are falling, while Muslim rates continue to increase.

2028...A new source of energy. Nuclear Fusion technology is advancing to the point where sustainable Fusion may be quite possible. If/When that happens, we will have a sustainable source of clean energy that replaces most fossil fuel use. Some predictions say that may happen within 15 years.
Hunger becomes a problem for humanity....That is already happening. Over a billion people are already suffering malnutrition, while the population continues to grow exponentially. The combination of overpopulation and climate change will only make this problem worse. Agriculture will Not be able to keep up with demand as the populations soar....especially in underdeveloped nations.

2033....Ice from the poles starts melting, and oceans begin to rise. THAT is a given...the Arctic is already seeing major melting, Greenland is melting, and the Antarctica is "calving" more and more Ice sheets/icebergs. The oceans WILL rise over the next century, and put most of our major coastal cities...from Houston, to Boston, and 1/4 of our population, in Jeopardy.

Beyond that, who knows?????

These are the predictions that I meant. You can see it in the news even if you pay close attention. So that is why I do think that some of it will come true @DonM

Too many predictions to be credible and most are easily decipherable. The entirety of the notes from the last child from the Miracle at Fatima was never revealed by the Catholic church.

Just as there are fakes out there, there are those of us who truly have psychic gifts. I read through it. Some things believable, some not so much. Being a psychic (though not on demand) I know the ability of prophecy exists. I've had many precognitive dreams and what I call "knowings" that started about 50 years ago. I've always felt the urge to tell the dreams that wound up coming true to someone (or maybe a couple of people) soon after having the dreams. So when they came true, there were people who knew I'd predicted the events beforehand. I learned during a metaphysical course exercise that I also have the ability to do psychometry readings and did mostly successful ones for free on my co-workers. Psychometry is accomplished by holding the person's object in hand...I mostly used earrings or rings. I visualized events and drew images surrounding those events that I could not have known about prior to the readings. Some were from the past, some from the near future. What got me about this woman's "predictions" is that she went centuries in the future. I must say I found some of the comments to be quite interesting.

That is so interesting! How does your gift work exactly?
April I assume that question is for me. I can't tell you exactly how my gift works. It happens when it happens; I'm not psychic "on demand". My knowings often just pop into my thoughts usually interrupting other thoughts or what I was focusing on. For instance once, while driving I was enjoying a song on the radio when I had a knowing about a friend's ex's death as I saw him walking about a block ahead. The thought..."he won't be here that long". He died within 2 weeks. I had a similar knowing about a neighbor as, after a nice chat, I placed my hand on her doorknob to leave. She also died within two weeks. My precognitive dreams come as vivid dreams that I have a strong urge to tell someone. They include signs of impending deaths, to truck accidents and fires. I had a dream that my grandson was born with a film over one of his eyes. His mother asked the doctor about it and the doctor said "Don't worry, it will go away by itself". When he was born, one of his eyelids stayed closed (the film). When his mother asked the doctor about it, he said verbatim what he said in the dream.

Psychometry: I hold a person's object in my hand, take a couple of minutes to do meditative breathing while concentrating on the object. I then start to see words and images which I jot down and draw. I learned I could do it during a metaphysical course in 1988 and the method above is how we were instructed to do it. My first successful reading was in that class. Sometimes I can glean very specific information about what I see, sometimes not, but what I see still winds up being significant. I have seen images of something that turned out to be my co-worker's aunt"s property in another state (I never knew she had an aunt). I saw images of a bar another co-worker wound up going to after being invited out that night by her ex-boyfriend. She had never been there before and told me my description was accurate. I also described an office/apartment complex another co-worker wound up making a field stop at, including how the complex was laid out. When I described it (with drawing in hand) I (we) didn't know if he'd be going there for business or pleasure. I only had two readings where I couldn't get any information. I have had so many psychic experiences over the last 50 years.

Remember the character Daphne in the old "Frasier" show? She always claimed, in her Manchester accent, to be "a bit psychic," and her predictions were usually hilarious and way off the mark.
