Yes it is, it took multiple coats of paint to make it pop. Deep blue glitter on head and shoulders and purple eyes. Oh and the blueberries, they sprouted fast. Little buds on their way to fruit.

A question for anyone with a burning bush...as I was trimming it yesterday it was full of lady bugs. I never saw so many gathered in one place. Is that like a lady bug magnet?

Ladybugs are a good thing. Did you see aphids. They gobble those up. Some people buy the bugs in bulk just to release and lessen the aphid damage. We don't have them on our burning busy, but do get tons of aphids on our cherry tree and aspens.

Glad to hear they're a good thing. Really my girl and I were trimming and there would be three to five lady bugs on a long stem. We'd blow them off before trashing the clippings. Another thing burning bushes attract in early Spring is cardinals.

Very nice Fur, my outdoor garden right now consists of Dandelions , some Irises about to bloom that are short lived but have come up every year since we owned the house (over 30 years).

I love the cat statue as well!

I bought a big Buddha statue at a charity shop a few weeks ago with plans to put in the garden. But I like having it sitting next to the fireplace and haven't moved it.

Aren't Irises amazing like that!? I've also got a couple that were on the property when I moved here (1982). I've moved them around a half dozen times because they were in the way, and they just keep coming back, with absolutely no care. They have become such faithful companions, I don't have the heart to get rid of them now.:)

Irises are pretty...what a beautiful garden your wife had Ken:love_heart: Now you've got me thinking of building a wishing well...
