I've naturalized the area along my driveway with different kinds of daisies. They don't all bloom at the same time. These are the first ones to start blooming.
Absolutely!!!Looks like you're keeping your pollinators happy.
Sounds yummy....nothing beats fresh!!I gave my 'square foot gardens' to my eldest son. This year I am putting my garden in containers on our patio. I will have Three tomato plants, one being a cherry tomato, and one cucumber plant. I will use a mixture of 1/3 Compost, 1/3 Peat, 1/3 Vermiculite in each container. Hope we get lots of tomatoes and cucumbers...they are our favorites...
Comments please...
Wow! It looks just like my yard..... NOT!!! LOLI’m at Stanford again having brought my wife for an appointment. We arrived early so we could visit the FILOLI estate garden again. Here are a few snaps.

I don't have the time or energy to make (or keep up) anything that beautiful!![]()
I love that perspective about gardening is a collaboration with nature!!!! I will have to steal it from you!!!!No one does. This sort of estate garden requires an army of experts and laborers and the deep pockets to fund them. I can’t relate in terms of my own gardening and even what I used to be able to do is melting away. Ah well, I’ve always said a garden is a collaboration with nature. The less I can do the more nature must take over. Fortunately she doesn’t seem to object.
Ma Nature.....she has her own agenda and non of us are going to change her mind!
I agree, 100%!Yep we can groom her, feed her, perform some interventions .. while we can. But in the end she inherits and has to make the calls.
I intend to enjoy her contributions rather than begrudge and resent her efforts.
What is that first pix? It's so beautiful!!!!

They bloomed!
There is a lighter one at the very top. Those will come out next.

That's quite a crop you have there!!!
Gopher....is that the same as moles? If you know a way to "mole prof" the yard/garden, please......share your secret!!!
