Residents of Geneva, Switzerland, voted this week to introduce a minimum wage that is believed to be the highest in the world.

Isn't the cost of living really high there also? I thought it was.

Yes, it is. My husband and I once visited Switzerland, and couldn't even afford to buy any souvenirs. I ended up getting a chocolate bar, everything else was priced sky high.

So maybe the high wages are in keeping with the cost of living in that country?
