Good Morning Kaila and Friends. 🤗 :coffee:🌻

I woke up too early, laid awake listening to a podcast, then fell back to sleep and overslept. Does that happen to you guys?

92F/33C and no chance of rain today with a "real feel" of 106F/40.5C. Dog and peanut watering will ensue.

A weather warning for dense fog is in effect right now, which kind of makes me want to go outside. Fog is fun as long as you don't have to drive in it. 😶‍🌫️

@Kaila, you had an exhausting day yesterday and wouldn't you just know that's the time for a rare neighbor knocking incident? Ugh. I'm hoping you get a chance to rest today. 👽

Hi everyone
hot and humid again here. We also had that storm here in CT that you guys had. Thunder but no power loss thank goodness.

Grandson and his family went to Cape Cod for vacation with her parents. I don't know where on the Cape so I looked at the weather for Yarmouth which is sort of in the middle and there was no rain It's cloudy up there so not such a great vacation.

My son's stopping tonight after his work he'll take out my trash and pick up a prescription for me up the street There is nothing going on with me just the same old boring routine.

All your posts really brightens my day even though I don't have much to offer. @Pam you played old maid....I don't think I've played that game since I was 12 I wish I could! If could remember how to do it Old maid seems to have gotten lost among my Yahtzee and backgammon and cribbage Canasta all those other games we used to play.

@Kaila get some rest You've been running back and forth with these appointments Be very careful now.

Good evening, @Kaila and all. Not had much opportunity to be online today. Took Rocco out for a walk first thing before he was collected by in-laws to spend some time with them, then my friend came round for a coffee and catch up. She stayed until about 1ish then I had a bite to eat before Rocco was brought back to me. After that we both had a snooze. :cool: 💤

Just been out with him again, he is now chilling so I thought I'd catch a few minutes on here before settling down to watch TV. This damned computer is getting worse though, the keyboard keys and spacebar keep sticking, and it's just not comfy sitting here. I need a kick up the backside to go and buy a laptop... my son keeps asking when I want to go and get it. I will get round to it......;)

Bit of a change in the weather today, rain on and off and lower temperatures but still warm. Fortunately, where son and family have gone, it's sunny and bright and much warmer. They've been texting me with photographs and looks like they're having a lovely time.

Well, that's it. Nothing exciting. Hope you are all well.

It is really good to read you and catch up on all the latest news.
@Kaila I hope you will have the opportunity to rest a little today. Those appointments can be quite stressful.
Happy to hear that the bad weather patterns hitting the NE of the USA did not affect you too much.
Nothing much to say here. I have not felt good. Saw a new specialist 3 months ago. I decided to switch to him simply because he was closer to me.
It took about 4 months to get an appointment with him! I was not impressed by him but he gave me a medication and told me to see him again later in the year. The medication made me feel worse. I called their office and left messages for the clinical staff. It took 2 weeks for the girl to call me back to let me know that she would talk to the doctor!
One week later, she told me that he wanted to see me again.
At that point, I decided to ditch him and go back to my previous specialist that has his office 20 miles away from my home.
I do not like to drive and the traffic around here is getting really heavy and bad, but I like that doctor. He is very pleasant and efficient.
On another note, my Elsa is still not cured. We tried lots of changes without much improvement. She is now on a prescribed food and taking medication. It helps with the itching as well as the rashes on her belly but we still have no idea as what can be causing this change in her. It makes it more comfortable for her. Fortunately, she does not mind the medication nor the food change. We put her brother on it as well.
Those are all my news for now. I hesitate to write this as it is not particularly happy news!

However, I got an offer i couldn't refuse....
From...... my dentist 🤪🫣😬🤭😁

They had a cancelation so yes I am very desperate to save some of my teeth;

Therefore I said yes, and of course I am doubly exhausted and head aches this evening,
But I'm proud of myself. 🙄🙄🙄

Sort of. 😃😄😁😆

Sorry that you haven't gotten a clearer and better resolution for dear Elsa 's troubles.😒
But we all still surely do want to know how she and you have been doing.
Therefore, thank you for sharing with us, even though we wish it was better news.

I hope you are all managing to live life without too much pain. Unfortunately I don’t remember how to play many of the card games I knew as a kid. The only thing I can offer are photos of our mornings walks. Yesterday was a beautiful walk. We walked right beside the Atlantic Ocean.

Ah yes - teeth. It's never too late for good dental care. I've had a lot of extractions through my lifetime. Growing up, money was tight. Extraction was $5.00, a filling was $10.00 .. Dad said, go with what was cheapest.

Today, we're just doing a few errands .. dropping off books at the library, etc.

Feeling that! My fillings are running us about $320 each! It's bananas.

The trees in the backyard are swaying every which way tonight. Lights flickered a couple of times.

Mother Nature keeps hinting that summer is coming and then does an about turn.
