Do you order new updated glasses, at that same visit and location?
Does your newspaper have just a few of the puzzles, in each issue?
Or is it several or more?
How often is there a new newspaper, if you know what I mean?
Opticians visit went well. I have to go regularly for check ups because my mother had glaucoma. Fortunately, I got the all clear on that, also no macular degeneration. In general, my eyes are healthy... so that's one thing about me that's good.
No need for updated glasses this time but when I do get them, yes I choose from the selection they have in the shop.Re the newspaper, I think part of it is habit. Initially I bought it because it came with a magazine which contained tv guide/recipes/various articles etc. as well as the crosswords and word games. TV guide not required nowadays and the magazine has certainly dwindled but there are about 6 or 7 pages of word games and a few sudoku ones too (which I don't do). I only do them at night time in bed so they last me from Saturday to Saturday. The same newspaper does do a daily one but the Saturday one is enough to keep me going.
