How lovely for you @CallMeKate to be able to see such a variety of animals! I do envy you. As I've said previously, all I see from my back concreted yard are pigeons or herring gulls.

I've just been out with Rocco.... it's a little frosty underfoot but clearing up now. We have bright sunshine and clear blue skies which makes up for it being a little on the chilly side...37F.

I took down the Christmas decorations first thing this morning and packed them all away. It's good to be back to normality and into more of a routine again. I even cleaned this room - and all before Rocco arrived - I must take it easy now.

Like Kate, I am looking forward to the warmer days coming up. The walks with Lucius have not been too bad today though, weather-wise.

Husband is off today and we are planning on watching an AHL (league under NHL) game this afternoon.

We are going to Walmart tomorrow (when husband will be off again) to pick up some things I will need for Valentines and Lupercalia. Also, I want to get some fabrics for sewing for my Barbie dolls. I watch these cool videos on Youtube and I want to make the clothes, but I usually don't have the right fabrics. So, Walmart Ho!

Right now I am hanging out with boyfriend over Whatsapp and catching up with the lovely peeps here.

Sometimes you’ll find unique fabric in the international section of thrift stores. Years ago I had three pillows that were made from saris. Bright yellow, pink, turquoise. They were made by a local painter. Her art was bright too. I like colourful.

We have very few squirrels around here. Today one ran onto the porch with a nut in its mouth. Sorry buddy, I don’t where you heading when you were looking up, but not into the rafters of my house. And it tried to look innocent.

Good morning. Hope everyone is well. Loved hearing about the squirrel @Jules.

Rocco has arrived and mum tells me he has been a bit naughty. She made herself some porridge this morning, put the bowl on the table then went to get something from another room. When she came back in, Rocco was tucking into the porridge. He's curled up having a nap now... not surprised, his stomach must be full.

I managed a bit of Ancestry research earlier on...looking at various census forms etc. and made a little bit of headway. So far, my family ancestry is Scotland and northern England....;so all very close to home. No exotic background for me.

Hi Kaila, how's the PT going? I am off like a turtle here as I have a cardiology appointment in an hour. I have to let him know that one of the meds. another cardiologist ordered for me in the hospital has been causing severe side effects with me.

He goes ballistic when I am hospitalized and all these other cardiac outfits get in on the act.

Good Afternoon, Kaila and Friends

How's everyone doing today? It's supposed to be a bit warmer here for the next few days, but it was still pretty chilly on the first Lucius walk. I haven't done the 2nd, which is very soon, yet though, so maybe it will have warmed up by then.

@Jules, I used to do that a lot, raid thrift stores for fabrics, or large clothes I could cut up for fabrics, but I just don't have it to do that anymore. Now I just wanna pick out my fabrics have them cut and bring them home! Your pillows sound really pretty.

So we got the camera bird feeder set up! We're going through some adjustments with it; I think it's yelling at the birds. :/ But when I woke this morning there were messages from the feeder on my phone and pictures!


I'm thinking of starting a thread for this because I can tell it's going to be a "thing."

Husband and I are off to Walmart soon.

Hoping everyone is feeling good this Tuesday afternoon.

i looked real quickly at the bird, and thought ..it is a vulture, then a
second and third look under zoomand realized it was no vultur.....LOL//

I love squirrels but they've been using my porch stairs to sharpen their teeth on. I wondered why the wood was so torn up there. I still love them though. They're too cute not to.

I am in EST time zone as I live in New Jersey. My blood pressure meds had to be increased, but otherwise all went well.

My doctor is a very busy man, but he spent an hour with me. I am a happy soul tonight.

That's wonderful that he pays attention to you and your needs. It brings a happy tear to my eyes.

Expecting snow and freezing rain here, but not going outdoors or anyplace, in the winter storm , tomorrow!

Yesterday was honestly miserable for me, and I was barely mobile.....
Yet, today, though it was difficult, I could move and wash and dress, and.....
I did get to p.t.

I'm thankful that I can still go there for help, after several months, because it is still needed and it's helpful,
And gives me tools and hope.

I wanted to share that with all of you.

It is just beautiful outside today! Gorgeous day! We are stealing a little warm weather from winter.

I've had a busy morning with my usuals and a video appointment I've just finished a few minutes ago.

I'm going to post more pictures in the Bird Feeder thread, but look who visited our feeder this morning!


I'm so happy!!!

I have more pictures of her for the feeder thread, and some Sparrows and... an unwelcome visitor.
