@Kaila, glad you got a nap yesterday. :)

To be honest, I don't love my haircut; it's a bit shorter than I'd like, but that is my fault for asking for too much off. It's fine. It looks fine and will look much better in a couple weeks when it's grown out a bit.

My husband and son were very sweet about it, while admitting it's not the best cut I've ever had, saying that it still looks very nice, just a bit short, and I agree; it's fine.

I'm having a Zoom meeting with boyfriend today because he wants to see my hair. It really is fine. I don't love it, but it's fine. LOL I've been saying, "it's fine," since I got home. 😅

I'm hoping everyone is feeling good today, @RadishRose is continuing to heal and @Pam is enjoying Snooker. Wait, is Snooker over? I remember you discovered a bit more to watch after the original tournament ended.

Today I’ll be carrying my umbrella for my walks. As long as it’s not windy or cold, I find it therapeutic listening to pitter patter of the rain on it. Since we’ve had an extremely dry spring, the more rain the better.

DH is having two PT appointments a week now. The TENS helps. Do you have this too, @Kaila.

@Medusa - Yes, I've been watching the 'senior snooker', finished at the weekend so normal service now resumed. ;) I read your post about hair cut, I've booked to get mine cut a week today. I'm debating whether to get just an inch cut off or go for a slightly shorter style. I keep changing my mind. Edited to add that Rocco is also having a haircut this Friday. 🐶

@Kaila, son is fine, just a bit stiff and achy for a while. That's the last walk he's entering he said.. we shall see. Grandson was early finish today so he came round here for a sandwich midday and my son collected him about half an hour ago. Son's turn for early finish tomorrow so I'll see him again tomorrow and we'll have dinner together.

Hope that both @Kaila and @RadishRose are healing nicely. Healing thoughts to anyone else that is in need.

I got husband and myself outdoors in the yard this morning, which was good for his spirits and for mine too;
to have that change of pace away from the medical and other essential household tasks and appointments.

It's a bit warmer than yesterday and finally without the cold breezes we've been having most days.

Worn out now, but feel happy to have gotten us both outdoors.

I agree with you that sometimes, rain is pleasant and welcome.😃

I haven't had TENS.
It's he having it at the PT appointments or at home in between?
It's a good idea for me to think about trying it.

Today is cleaning day. Tomorrow, we're going out for a late Mother's Day dinner, as daughter was not feeling well over the weekend. Saturday, we're going out again, with daughter & her boyfriend. This is one place we're going to .. Gio Rana's Really Really Good Restaurant. They have a huge nose
on their sign out front.

My hair grows pretty quickly so it shouldn't be too long before I like it well enough. :) And I've ordered a curling iron from Amazon to fix the one weird spot that's really bugging me.

Zoom with boyfriend went well and now I feel comforted that everyone has seen it and I'm not hiding myself in horror.

It's fine. 😅

Really great that you and husband got some nice time outside. 🤗

I have a TENS Unit and I find it only mildly useful for myself, but my husband found it very comforting with the pain when he had a pinched nerve. They're relatively inexpensive now too. Might be worth a try. :)

Hey Kaila and Posse,,,,,

DS got me to my doc appt today, taking time off work. I was so scared, but I did rather well with him helping. I could tell a difference in my legs. Stronger. Back less painful, and I attribute this improvement to all of you and your well wishes for me; see how you've helped me? ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

Ate a ground beef patty and chickpea salad.

Isn't it great when we get outside for a bit, right Kaila? Glad you guys got out today.
