In answer to your question, @CallMeKate.. got a grocery delivery due first, between 11 and 12, not what you'd call exciting. But, am expecting grandson not long afterwards so that will make me happy. He's going away on holiday with his mates on Thursday or Friday (Tenerife) and is on early finish today and wants to see me before he goes away. Getting his hair cut first. I did tell him that I hoped he wasn't going to get a mullet or similar, he assured me that he wasn't. ;)

It is the same for me. Errand day. Usually I am not excited about it but today I am also going to visit my friend who has been newly moved to a local nursing home. So looking forward to that as I have missed her.

An un-exciting day today. The O/H has to teach 2 online ESL classes .. oh, and, the water will be turned off, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. They do this, quite regularly. I've got pots, etc. filled with water to wash hands, make coffee, etc.

Oh, I subscribed to Nextflix again but just for a month. Wanted to watch "Nonnas" but was disappointed and didn't finish it.

Good Morning, Kaila and Friends. 🤗 :coffee:🌻

Nothing exciting going on this morning. I've started some laundry and am having my morning coffee. It's the usuals for me today, dog walks, exercises, household things. Oh, I'm making some ground turkey spaghetti today as I often do (along with peanut butter cookies) when husband is away.

I have been so caught up in watching compilations of, "Catfish: The TV Show" and anthologies of animated true scary stories on YouTube for the last couple days. That and, when I'm out walking the dog or doing house things, listening to podcast episodes of, Mr. Ballen's true scary/creepy stories.

I'm surprised I didn't have nightmares last night. 😱

@Pam, enjoy visit with your grandson. 🤗

@Pinky, what is, "O/H?"

@RadishRose, hope physical therapy goes well.

Hope everyone woke feeling hale and hearty this morning.

That's a long number of hours to go without the running water. 😐
Do you have it in some type of container to readily be able to wash hands?🤔
 
Good afternoon, everyone. Been for a walk around the park this morning, it's sunny but unfortunately quite a cold wind blowing. Rocco is now fast asleep, I would join him but my son's coming round to have some dinner with me so I'd best get on and make that. ;) It's vegan paella today, one of his favourites.

Was hoping to take photos of the cygnets but the swans were being a bit protective and I couldn't get close enough so the only photo I took was of a mallard looking for food. Bottoms up!! :cool:

My p.t. went great yesterday. I'm very pleased and thankful for having access to such a good place for that. It's making an extremely important effect on my abilities. ☺️

It's going to get hot here today, too, and I'm trying to get us outdoors before it does.

Perhaps if you were willing to put out a little extra effort, you would dive into the water and by chance get a photo of those Swan youngsters for us!

That made me laugh but I know what you mean. 😊

For you though, at least it's not pouring buckets of rain, while you're trying to go for dog walks. Right?😀

Dh and I were both feeling strong enough to go outdoors this morning, for some small enjoyment ,
rather than for one of our various and sundry medical needs!
So that is a happy day!
