Good Morning, Kaila and Friends![]()
Just finished therapy, which went well. I mean, as well as that goes. If you're doing it right, therapy is hard so, meh, it was uncomfortable this morning, which means I'm doing the work.
@RadishRose, glad you had a nice visit with family and your dog.Loved the sushi-pop!
Feeling thefor all of you!

'Morning lovely people!
@Kaila, yes, it was wonderful to see my doggie and grands Sat. Hadn't seen my dog since April 12th. We snuggled and she almost licked my face off!
Baby was cranky on and off but mostly off.
We made Chicken Tikka Masala, basmati rice, spicy lentils and steamed broccoli. Baby ate most of a small burger, lots of broccoli, some cheese.
Kaila good luck at the oral surgeon!
My pt is 2x per week. I only have 2 more covered but he says I;m a lot stronger now.
You guys were talking about Sushi. I do like it but it's been awhile.
Kaila, you really are quite funny; I also laughed at your posts in the Games section.
May you all have fun today!

@Kaila it's been a long time since I've been here (aka MarciKS) & I am not certain I recall why you are ill. I do hope your recovery is going well.
I spent some time in the hospital in November so I understand. I can't imagine being in there a month. Yuck.Oh gosh, thank you for telling me.
I wondered who you were when I saw your posts on katlupe 's thread.
I had a series of medical setbacks in November and December, and fell 3 times, then spent a month inpatient.
Dh also had a terrible medical event, so caring for us both at home now.
Have made a lot of amazing progress.
More is needed.
Good afternoon Kaila and friends. I hope you are all having a lovely day.

Iβve never had Sushi and probably never will. The idea of raw fish and seafood really turns my stomach.
Rain in the forecast here as well. We will be driving in it later.
Have a good day @Kaila .. and everyone![]()
blend everythingThe following sounds like a riddle but it isn't one.
How do you eat when you have oral surgery on Left side of your mouth?
Easy: On the right side of your mouth, despite how many times the food tries to sneak over to the wrong side.
And, how do you eat when you have oral surgery on the Right side of your mouth?
Easy: On the left side of your mouth, despite.... well, you know what happens to the food then.
BUT, how do you eat when the left side is not fully healed before you have oral surgery on the right side???
I needed a crash course today, of that third scenario, and after the first couple tries, I discovered the hidden answer.
You curl your tongue, and then push the soft food against the roof of your mouth.
Be sure it is Very Soft food!
Better yet, make that ice cream!
Preferably coffee ice cream.
It's obvious to all, that will work the best.
I do plan to try next: mashed pea soup with a side of mashed potatoes.![]()
you know i realize it sounds disgusting but it would be to your benefit to make some puree food. you don't have to chew it. it's like having everything in a thick pudding form. if you don't know how to make your own there might be some videos on it or i could try to message you with some ideas since i do my own a lot when i can't use my teeth. The following sounds like a riddle but it isn't one.

@KailaWere you out driving in the rain, today, out of necessity, Pinky?
Or do you enjoy the excursions, and seeing more of nature, equally in all sorts of weather?
