Good evening. Was expecting to have a fairly quiet day, but then grandson texted to ask if it was okay to come round as he'd just finished at the gym. Had to laugh as he asked if it was too early for me...9.30 am. I told him I'd been awake since 5 am so no, he wasn't too early. :ROFLMAO:

We took Rocco out for a quick walk then about 11 am youngest granddaughter arrived. She'd done her final exam this morning, Spanish, so she can now relax. She will go to school on Friday for the final assembly and the signing of shirts etc. then in September on she goes to do her A (advanced) Levels at 6th Form.

We all played a few games together before she was collected by her other grandparents then I made a light meal for me and grandson. He went home about 3ish. Rocco went home at 5, so now it's 'me' time. :cool:

It is so nice that you get to see and interact with the grandchildren and with Rocco , frequently.
And that they leave you with a tiny bit of me-time, Pam. 😄😁😊

After my P.T. session yesterday and medical phone calls, I managed somehow, to get dh to his 2 appointments today.
One had information overload and was long and challenging for myself.🫣🙄😬😵‍💫😵🥴

My body and brain are worn out now.
Can't do the grocery order or much of anything else, today.
They'll have to wait, along with so much else. 😊🙄🤭🙃😁

Thanks to everyone, for the very appreciated encouragement!
 
Good morning, @Kaila and all. Hope you feel a bit more rested today, Kaila, and perhaps you will manage to get your grocery order done at least. 🛒 I've got a delivery due this morning between 9 and 10. I've just received online receipt and nothing is missing or substituted so that's good.

I should get off my backside and do a bit of housework but I can't be bothered. Feeling lazy today. :cool:

I had to give up, for the present,
on pushing through tasks that seem essential, and rest and recupe much longer than I wish. 🙄

If i don't listen to the signals that my body and brain are giving me, at this point, then I'll just get worse, for longer.

Therefore, I'm listening.😉☺️🤗

I would think that you'd need to give yourself some lazy times in betweenall the visits and walks and all that you do. Especially with that shoulder nagging at you.🥰
Is always great when a grocery order is filled with nothing left off as unavailable. 🤩

I hope to get my groceries ordered today for tomorrow, but resting in bed for a while. 🙃🫠

I'm hoping that taking extra rest today will help me to reset.
If not, I will pull myself out of it, tomorrow, and go to Thursday P.T., anyway.
If resting doesn't work, then it will be time to try to push thru it, instead.

Hi everyone unfortunately like some of you I've been feeling like crap for the last couple days I seem to be tired a lot there's various things on my mind that I don't really want to talk about but just make me feel down and confused. I'm waiting for an estimate on a new heating and air conditioning unit ah my air conditioning broke down, the compressor died And it's very expensive I just don't have that kind of money it seems I might qualify for a state aid with getting a new System and I'm waiting to hear about that. At least the heat works.

@Pam it's so nice that you see your grandchildren as often as you do. I love that they come and visit you and you play games and share meals and of course Rocco; I love dogs I love cats too but I favor dogs a little bit more and he's so cute.

I really don't have anything entertaining to say. It's still raining.

Oh those donuts look so wonderful!

So much for a lazy day @Kaila.... my granddaughter messaged and asked if she could come round for an hour or so en route to meeting her friend at the gym. She left here just after midday, then at 1.30 youngest son turned up and stayed for the afternoon. So, no nap for me, I'm shattered now. But not complaining. Just trying to keep my eyes open....😵‍💫😁

@RadishRose, hope your struggles ease soon. 🤗

Wish I could wave a magic wand and ease everyones pains, troubles etc.

And, finally, I want to thank you @Kaila for this place on the forum. It's like a little oasis. I am a very shy, private person and it's sometimes difficult for me to make posts but I find it quite a bit easier here where everyone is so pleasant.

Here's a photo of the last little dog I had. Her name was Bonnie. She was a rescue dog, I seem to have just 'acquired' dogs ever since we found one when my eldest was a baby. I still miss her.

It's early afternoon, and I'm feeling a small bit better, which was enough to complete and submit the grocery order.
And to prepare some paperwork to mail to the landlord.

Those were the 2 small tasks that I
prioritized of the ones waiting in cue.
Oh. And eating.😊

Washing dishes are still waiting in line. 😳😵‍💫😵

But naps must come next.
They just must.

We're expecting a storm tomorrow afternoon and evening.
I wonder if any of you got it before it's coming here too the northeast corner.?

We're in the Mid-Atlantic and when I checked a little while ago, it was pouring. About to take the second dog walk in the sloshy rain. ☔ 🐕‍🦺

Edit: We took the walk and it had stopped raining, except little sprinkles under a few stray clouds. It was hot, though! ♨️☀️
