I can relate. I had an appointment like that on Thursday. The interstate was crowded. A big truck obscured my view and I missed my exit. By the time I got there I was 30 minutes late. Then a walk from the garage with my rollator and the information desk sent me to the wrong floor. I was happy they took me anyway late as it was and performed an ECHO.After I got home from my appointment this morning, I was too exhausted, so I had to rest before I could eat.
And then ate a little, and needed to nap.
After which, I wanted to do 1 or the other, of 2 simple tasks, but......
I was just too exhausted, so I've gone to resting some more.
Well, the accomplishment is that i did go to that important appointment.
I very often find it very draining to get ready, and to go, and to sit in those endless wait rooms, etc....etc.....
I hope that been soup turns out well,

It sounds good to me!
The drive home was in rush hour and took a full hour. My blood pressure must have been off the chart.
I am on blood thinner and that night my nose started bleeding and continued for 14 hours. I couldn't lie down but at least it calmed down in the afternoon after a second round of nasal spray. The last time this happened I spent the night in the ER and I didn't want that.
Today I slept until noon and I'm still tired..
