Gentle posts for gentle folks

Kate's not gonna throw anything... she loves the BER months. But if Jules is going to throw something, I hope it's chocolate because I'd surely follow after her and scoop it up.
Poor Jules can’t afford chocolate any more. The world is going to hell in a hand basket. It’s the end of civilization as we know it.

It's definitely a continuing and frequently repeated need , to make small tweaks or even large adjustments, to exercising. I agree with that!

I would like to reply to your gushingly positive comments on dog virtues;

However I must remind you that I always have a most perfectly perfect cat, hovering near me. 🤗☺️😁

🙀😺😻😸😉😊😁

Good Morning, Kaila and Friends. 🤗:coffee:🌻

I am definitely up for encouraging anyone who wants to throw some chocolate! We will all be running around with our baskets filling up. 7eff0c744b5bdd8c2ae576933eabdb6b-1380690519.jpg

It's going to be another warm day here, but I continue to wait out these last several days of summer knowing that autumn is coming.

Yesterday, I played Hide-and-Seek on Animal Crossing with boyfriend and it was silly fun. 🤗

Good evening. Rocco's mum and dad came back from camping trip earlier today so I am now having a bit of relaxation time. Poor Rocco started with an upset tummy yesterday afternoon. My grandson was here and, bless him, he cleaned the back yard up after Rocco had 'been'. I didn't give Rocco any meals after that but took him out a few times for short walks. Thought he was okay but twice in the night he woke me up to be let outside. Poor doggie. :(

Got up at the crack of dawn with him and took him straight out then again a little bit later we walked round the park and he was absolutely fine on both occasions and has been for the rest of the day, thank goodness. No more 'upset tummy'. He'll be getting a bland diet of rice before gradually introducing his usual food.

Going to have a little play in the word games then it will be chill time in front of the tele for me.

Hoping everyone is okay. :)

I play Animal Crossing but offline as I no longer have an online acct.
I love that game! But I haven't played for a while. Maybe this weekend.

Aw, poor Rocco. My Lucius has a sensitive tummy and I sometimes have to give him an antacid. Glad Rocco starting to feel better.

My area is in need of rain. "Big" storm went through about 30 minutes ago... not enough rain to water a grasshopper and two claps of thunder. Now the sun is shining bright again.

Being on the east coast, I'm keeping an eye on Erin to see if she's going to hit or miss the mainland with a landfall. I have plans for a road trip next week, and a hurricane event would definitely hamper plans. Not by wind or direct hit, but the outer band rains that usually come this way. So we'll see. 🤷‍♀️

We were supposed to get a thundestorm this afternoon. It was drizzling a bit on the afternoon walk but not enough to make me open my umbrella. I wonder if that was it?

hahaha, That really made me laugh out loud - as I can so relate!

We get "STORM WATCH" and it's 5 drops of rain and 1 clap of thunder IF we're lucky! :D

I need to read the grocery store flyers to see if my favourite cookies with a dark chocolate topping are still on sale tomorrow. If not, you know what I’m doing this afternoon.

Many years ago, I used to bake small round cookies, that each one had a single Hershey chocolate kiss pressed slightly into the center on top.

Oh they were delightful.
When taken to any festive potluck,
There were never any to take back home.

That was the only problem with them.
Empty plate syndrome.
😊☺️🤭

Hershey Kiss Cookies! They were sooooo good. I think they were also called... was it Peanut Butter Blossoms? Yep, empty plate for sure and they were part of my Christmas traditions for many years.

We could eat them right off our computer screens.
Thank you for finding them and posting the picture, Kate!
I was hoping someone would do that, to add to my wonderful memory of them.

I remember you mentioning that you play Animal Crossing. :) This is my fifth island and I'm in the middle of rebuild, after flattening it. Have fun this weekend if you get a chance to pick it up!
i flatten mine too. at my age it's too much to keep up with the weeds on all the levels. my house of course is on another level with a big yard and a garden and a peach tree orchard. i think the only thing i don't have yet is the wheat. maybe...

my favorite villager is sherb!!!

Your house and surrounding grounds sound pretty and peaceful. :)

I have flattened two of my islands, one wherein I drew out an elaborate plan for rebuild and one where... I didn't. The former was fun and I'll never do the latter again! Sheesh, the work. LOL It's still only about half finished since the last flattening.

I have a design over all my unused surfaces to prevent weeds and have all the fossils buried behind the museum to prevent them from spawning.

I was just talking, on one of the Animal Crossing Subs on Reddit, about the fourth level, how you can build it, but not get on it or put anything up there. Kind of fun to have, though and some use it for scenic effect.

Speaking ACNH Subs on Reddit, I asked if there were any other players over sixty and was surprised that there are several there. It's heartening. :)

Sherb is a sweetie. :) I like his look. Sherb.jpg 🤗

My current favorite villager is Static. He's just so cool. ACNH Static.jpg.

My next project is a land bridge. Are you familiar with these? Just found out about them yesterday and now I want one.

Apologies, @Kaila and Friends. I get carried away with this subject. ;)

We were supposed to get a storm yesterday, but if it arrived, it wasn't noticeable. When I took Lucius out on the evening walk, it felt like being wrapped in a damp blanket. :/ Ugh.

I used to make those Hershey's Kiss Cookies too! That's how I've always thought of them, Hershey's Kiss Cookies, though I'll bet if I Iooked at my recipes, I'd find they're called, Peanut Butter Blossoms because that sounds familiar. :) So delicious!

I love @CallMeKate's happy signing flowers this morning. :) I can't actually hear them, but I know those flowers; they sing.

Both boyfriend and husband are working today and it will be the usuals for me.

Hoping all the wonderful people here are feeling good this day! 🥕🥕🥕🥕🥕
