Hoping you all have a fabulous day; I enjoyed reading all of your posts!

all my current bridges are land bridges made of wood. i might make them more elaborate later. i'll try to get some pics of mine to post in my diary page so we're not hogging up Kaila's diary with gaming chat. LOLYour house and surrounding grounds sound pretty and peaceful.
I have flattened two of my islands, one wherein I drew out an elaborate plan for rebuild and one where... I didn't. The former was fun and I'll never do the latter again! Sheesh, the work. LOL It's still only about half finished since the last flattening.
I have a design over all my unused surfaces to prevent weeds and have all the fossils buried behind the museum to prevent them from spawning.
I was just talking, on one of the Animal Crossing Subs on Reddit, about the fourth level, how you can build it, but not get on it or put anything up there. Kind of fun to have, though and some use it for scenic effect.
Speaking ACNH Subs on Reddit, I asked if there were any other players over sixty and was surprised that there are several there. It's heartening.
Sherb is a sweetie.I like his look. View attachment 442914
My current favorite villager is Static. He's just so cool. View attachment 442915.
My next project is a land bridge. Are you familiar with these? Just found out about them yesterday and now I want one.

Apologies, @Kaila and Friends. I get carried away with this subject.

Hello to all of you,
Elliot is so adorable, @Rossana
Always glad to see him in this thread.
It was an exhausting day for me.
I got to an appointment with an important Dr of mine, which went well....
Until she told me that she will be leaving that job.
I'm very sad and upset by that. I've relied on her, and felt more trust in her, than most. And depended on her.
I did some medical phone calls with dh, for his needs.... and went to pharmacy.
I tried to rest 3 times but could not nap, and feel extremely worn out. I hope i can get to sleep tonight earlier than I'm able to, most nights.
Tomorrow Friday, I have p.t. and take him for labwork.
Good evening. Sorry you are losing your doctor @Kaila.I went through the same about 2 years ago.
@RadishRose, I will pass that soup recipe to my youngest son, he is the soup maker of the family. He'll have to leave out the cilantro (coriander to us in the UK) as, unfortunately, it makes food taste 'off' to me but that's not a problem.
Today I finally made an appointment for the hairdresser to come and cut my hair, long overdue so she's coming next Thursday, thank goodness. I've also dug out my binoculars and bird book ready for my day trip out on Tuesday with son and grandson. Grandson and I used to go a couple of times a year when he was younger but Covid and then bad hip put a stop to that. It's been a few years since we've been and grandson is now 19... but he was the one who suggested we go the nature reserve again. I'm a happy bunny.![]()
Good Morning, Kaila and Friends.![]()
It's August 15th. Tick tock, summer; your time is running out. View attachment 443082
@Kaila, sorry to hear about your doctor leaving. It's hard to find one you like so it really sucks eggs when they leave. I'm sending good thoughts for a new doctor. Maybe this is a door to a doctor you like even better. I'm wishing for that.
---- Hoping you were able to get some sleep last night and your physical therapy goes well today.
@Rossana, your Elliot is gorgeous, and he looks so cozy.
In the last week or so I've increased the positive meditations, affirmations and incantations in my day. Which is a good thing, I know. But I wasn't feeling it yesterday and I'm not, so far, today. I'll do it anyway for the longer goal, but probably with a bad attitude.
-----Well, see, that's not very positive now, is it? Ahem, I do them with a good attitude. The best I can muster, anyway.
I'm work'n with what I've got over here.
Wishing everyone here on this lovely thread a peaceful day.

We had a meet and greet when we had a new doctor. It went over well once he realized a few things about us. Lol@Kaila - I am in the same situation with doctor. Actually I am going to a "meet and greet" to see a new doctor tomorrow. I never heard of having a meet and greet before but maybe I am behind the times.
