Gentle posts for gentle folks

Good morning all, a beautiful sunny day here. Going to go for a walk soon, make the most of this spell of nice weather. Monday, I had grocery delivery, Tuesday, my friend came round for coffee and a catch up. Yesterday, my youngest son and grandson were both on days off so they came round and put a second coat of paint on the outside lintel, window sill and doorstep. Grandson coming round again this afternoon. He's going abroad in a couple of days to attend his aunt's wedding (in Turkey) and will be away for about ten days.

And... that's about all, exciting eh? 🤣

What did I do today???🫣🤔🤭

Tried to plan out a workable schedule for the next few weeks.... tried to meet our needs for today....tried to write some notes and reminders for an upcoming appointment or two.....tried to finalize a grocery order....tried to nap.....
Well, you get the gist.
It was a very trying day. 😊🤭😁

Lots of trying, with varying levels of results. ☺️

P.T. session tomorrow morning.
 
Oh @Kaila... I do understand about 'trying'....it can be hard work. :cool: Hope your pt session goes well. 🤗

I received a phone call yesterday afternoon to say an appointment had been made for 9 am next Thursday at the hospital, this is for the tooth removal. I wasn't too happy about 9 am. I am always up early but to get to the hospital I need to take two short bus journeys to get there. As I hate being late, I always get the earlier buses but this would mean setting off way too early for my liking.

The other option was to get a taxi but I really do panic about being late and I'd probably get myself all stressed waiting for it to arrive, or book it way too early. :LOL: Then remembered that my youngest son goes past the hospital on his way to work so I messaged him and he's going to drop me off. It's only a ten minute journey in a car, whereas changing buses takes way longer.

Another lovely day here, so I'm going to head off for a walk with Rocco soon.

Good Afternoon, Kaila and Friends 🤗 :coffee: 🍂

I've been on a two-day break from my AIMS (Affirmations, Incantations and Meditations) except for my after exercise self-love spell. It feels a little like I spend several days "downloading" and then I need a couple of days for "installing." I just need to let everything settle-in before I begin again.

I don't know what in Hades was going on with the universe yesterday, but yeesh, it was a difficult day for me. It's like I was out of sync by about an 1/8" inch all day.

Thankfully, today is going much better. :)

@Kaila, I hope your physical therapy went well this morning. And good for you for all those tries! I mean, what else can we do but try?

@Pam, good wishes for your upcoming appointment. It's great that your son can take you. That must be a huge relief.

@PeppermintPatty, that tea looks wonderful. I love a nice hot tea in the afternoons.

But I'm quite sure it would have something in it, that mine clearly will Not have. 😊😁😄😁

P.T. was not as much fun, this week, as it sometimes has been. 🫤
Due to the fact that I've been in a setback, that is not resolving so far.
It's discouraging but there's just one path.
I'll keep going and doing what I am able.

And coping the best I can.
And trying to notice and appreciate the things that are going well.
And savor the days. That dh and I still have.
