Gentle posts for gentle folks

Hello, friends!☺️

It's March first!🥳🥳🥳🥳

Im psyched. 😊😁
Wow.
We've made it to March.

It isn't springtime hereabouts, but April usually follows March. 😉

Dear husband didn't have his best couple of days, and my anxiety was high. (Partly directly and partly due to other stresses)😵‍💫🙄🫤

But we're both having a better day today.
Whew.

I'm thinking of all of you, and hoping you are each finding something good in your day!

Good Afternoon, Kaila and Friends. 🤗 :coffee: 🌷

So, I've moved away from the creepy podcasts in favor of a new one I've discovered. Anyone remember the show, Dragnet? I loved that show when I was little and it was in reruns.

Well, it turns out that Dragnet was a radio show first, actually starring Jack Webb, the actor who stars as Joe Friday in the TV series. He is the creator of the radio show, as it happens. Anyway, I found a podcast series that is a compilation of the Dragnet radio show episodes and I'm hooked.

I found one for the show, Gunsmoke too, which I also did not realize was a radio show and listened to the first episode. It was good too, but I'm just so into Dragnet right now.

So, husband is home in a couple hours and we'll watch hockey. There's a lot of hockey to watch right now because the NHL is playing catchup.

I had a phone call from boyfriend this morning and that was really nice; good to hear his voice. He'll be back on Tuesday, which is also the day we are planning our make-up Mardi Gras. c4a7a0b6e35ef8e46714b4774be2c767.jpg It's really just going to be a wicked carb fest. Which, you know, woot. ;)

@Kaila, sorry about the anxiety levels; I know how difficult that can be. Glad to hear you and husband are having a better day, though. 🤗

@CallMeKate, how are you feeling today, girl?

Wishing everyone on this wonderful thread a super nice Sunday. 🥕🥕🥕

Dropped in to see a neighbour who had a stroke a few months ago. She’s in a care home. One side is immobile. Fortunately it didn’t affect her brain or speech. She said she’s lonely because nobody comes any more. Her husband and daughter are there every day. I’ll have to make more of an effort to stop in.

That's really kind of you, Jules.
