Those are truffles rolled in cocoa. They’ll go well with the coffee.What are those orange ping pong balls?

Yep, that's what I was going to say as well.
They do look a bit orangy. Orange goes well with chocolate, though so, maybe orange-coco truffles?

That’s a really old-fashioned name. I never thought of that being the derivation of the two Trudys I knew.

Good Afternoon, Kaila and Friends. 
Wet and chilly today. Blessing of blessings, though, husband took Lucius for his first walk this morning and it couldn't have been on a better day. I stayed up too late last night and consequently, woke late this morning, a bit headachy and very agitated, which did not dissipate over the course of the rushed morning.
When I went upstairs, way behind schedule, anxious and out of sorts, to walk Lucius, husband had already walked him. I was so relieved I wanted to cry. Just perfect timing. Today was the day for that.
Because of husband's thoughtfulness I was pretty close to being on schedule again and got to go straight downstairs for exercises and continue the day.
I'm still tired and out of sorts, but at least my day isn't running behind.
I'm thinking of all you lovely people on Kaila's come-as-you-are thread and wishing you a peaceful Thursday.

Mine was very difficult, yesterday and today.

I did see some wild birds at the window feeder, today, which I'm thankful for, as they do lift my spirits.

Good morning, Kaila and Friends! I am so sorry to hear about those difficult days you've had, Kaila. You're right... it's a feeling and it will pass but my goodness sometimes it feels as if it won't (like @MarciKS said.) Hoping for some calming days for you coming up. I agree with @Medusa about your positive attitude. Very inspiring. 
I'm ready to start an extremely busy Easter weekend, so I probably won't be around posting very much... or at least as much as usual. (Hey, who was that I heard clapping?!)

Good morning @Kaila and all. Just waiting on my four legged friend to arrive. Was up early as ever and managed to get a bit of washing done, dusted round etc. so that's me done for the day. As my shoulder isn't too bad at the moment, I am going to sit and do some cross stitch once I've been for a walk with Rocco.
I can only echo what others have already said about your positive attitude. Hope the coming days won't be as difficult for you.

Boyfriend is away until Tuesday. He's just texted that he arrived safely, so that's good. He'll have a good time, which is nice and knowing that makes his absence a bit easier to manage. I do miss him, though, when he's away.
Yeesh, it's hot today! I was hot in my hoodie, walking Lucius this afternoon.
Husband is off, which is always nice, and we'll catch some hockey or something else this evening. We had a funny tug-of-war with his phone earlier which had me cracking up. He had Instacart loaded and I wanted to pick out some fun-size candy bars. He wasn't picking the right ones, I tell ya.
@CallMeKate, ain't nobody clapping at your absence, girl; you will be missed.
