Zero although it was a very small portion of winkles/snails gathered and prepared for me by an acquaintance in Newfoundland. All else I've eaten and would eat again. Also had 'roo burgers in Australia, goat and achee in Jamaica, scallop roe in Scotland, alligator in Florida. Wherever I traveled I enjoyed experiencing local or unusual foods. I also sampled 'street cart' food in Mexico and Israel. My idea of living dangerously.

What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten? For me, probably reindeer.
How was the reindeer 'weird'? I had venison as a child and liked it, both venizon and elk as an adult. Most game meat tends to be leaner then domestic meat. Had wild duck as a kid too and liked it.

Some people would think a lot of things i've eaten were weird, but most of them were not just common but favored in other cultures: Dried cuttlefish: Chinese seeds steeped in herbs, some with medicinal properties are sold like snacks in Hawaii; Sashimi; Blood Sauage (Eastern European thing, actually pretty bland); Mochi bean treats; The black bean that is sometimes put in bottom of snow cones with a small bit vanilla icecream sounded weird to me when told about it, but somehow made such snowcones my favorites.

I ate it in Norway. I don't come across reindeer too often in US restaurants, but your mileage may vary.

Not crazy about beef tongue, either. I remember my mother serving it (they're huge) on a platter on our dining room table. <wince>

My Mom did too. My half sisters complained about it awful that first night after seeing so clearly what it was, but when she thin sliced for their school lunch sandwiches they came home asking if there was more. Me it was just another meat i felt required !ore chewing than it was worth but it also wasn't worth raising a fuss about to me.

15. Whenever I eat vegetable soup, there's always a pile of peas left on the bottom of the bowl.
