Organized religion seems to work for many, but something I've purposely steered clear of all of my adult life. There are some areas of life that seem to be a magnet for all the wrong sorts of people, and religion is right up there. Where the gullible can be found, you can be sure there will be someone there to take advantage of them.

There is a huge difference between what you hear from church to church. Most mainstream Protestant churches are very liberal. They attract affluent, guilt-ridden white folks who want to atone for the "sins" of being, well, affluent and white.

I believe in God, but I don't believe in people. Therefore, I'm not surprised at what some horny preacher does to fill his spare time. Just admit it people are duds when it comes to righteousness.
