Going to the doctor

Just make sure your "doctor" is a real honest-to-goodness DOCTOR with "M D" after their name and NOT some other initials !

Unfortunately, where we live there are very few MD's. They are mostly DO's or Nurse Practitioners. We have a new-to-us MD but he is so packed all the time that he is in and out in a flash. I just recently discovered from bloodwork done a month ago that my glucose and A1c are high. He wrote on my results that everything was "good"! I'm going in to see him with my husband on the 26th, who has an appointment that day, to ask questions. If he brushes me off with they were "good", I'm finding someone else...even if it's a DO or a Nurse Practitioner.

So you did 3 PRP sessions and no relief, even some?

I had the original dextrose Prolo over 10 yrs ago on shoulder and got 3 yrs pain relief from the Dextrose Prolo.

I was doing dextrose Prolo in my knee back in 2016 and was doing good, getting relief, and the D.O. on the 5th session, hit a spot in my knee that really hurt and I ended up with staph infection from that jab....long story on that mess I went thru with hospital/rehabs and doctors negligence on finding staph infection.....

Could you try to find someone who does Dextrose prolo, lot less money too.

Have done it all, dextrose, hyaluronic acid, & glucose...and one that was a mix. NOTHING....not to mention just plain cortisone injections to start. Then after about a year, I had full stem-cell this past Jan....NOTHING.

Well since you tried it all, what is left is a replacement or live with it.

I find a lot of ointments do help me keep going and DMSO is one of them.

Yes very rushed...10 minutes maximum and only one malady is permitted to be discussed per visit, and given we can't get an appointment under 3 weeks ( and rarely with the same doctor) it makes it difficult to marry up one condition that maybe causing another!!

A 'Do' is a medical practitioner who couldn't pass the Medical Doctor examination.

Steer clear of them if you need brain surgery !

I would hope everyone is smart enough to go to a brain surgeon when and if ever necessary.

And don't knock D.O'.s Falcon, I had a wonderful one for well over 30 yrs who took good care of my back and also was the one who got me on thyroid support when 4-5 other M.D.'s failed in the 10 yrs long journey.

Falcon...that's a very unfair assessment. We have a very good DO when we lived in PA. He was more on the ball than the "MD" we currently have here.

Well, I’ve got a real doctor
Quite young
Very up to date
Very hands on
Matter of fact, she put her hand on my thigh to test my reflexes
