Today I ordered a taxi and took the lovely lady from across the street for a meal.

It gave me the opportunity to tell her, that I wasn't sure I'd be OK going out with her and her family to spend the day walking around some large garden in Yorkshire next Wednesday. I told her that I was more than grateful that they all wanted to give me a really nice birthday, but my energy level isn't very good and I'd probably fall asleep in the bus and spoil the day for them.
Thankfully she understood, and tonight she came over and told me that, instead, they were going to do a barbicue in her garden and her granddaughter was baking a special cake for me. (y)

So my friends, I feel a sense of relief, and I'm sure I'll sleep well tonight. 😊

I'm getting a bit concerned, I may have a rival for the attention of the lovely lady across the street.
This fella moved in 6 houses down last week, and I've noticed the way he's forever around.
A duel, yeh, that's the answer, catapults at 20 paces.... heh, heh, heh, and I'm a crack-shot.... heh, heh, heh..... 😊
