Good afternoon and evening friends. I hope your day has been going well. I just got my dog's ashes back. They're in a pretty little cherry wood box in a little fabric bag. I also got her paw print in a stone with her name engraved also. I'm happy with them. Enjoy your evening friends.

Happy versus angry?

I much prefer being happy, but there are rare moments when anger wells up inside me. Like today, a young boy about 12 years old rode into the precinct and just threw his brand new looking bicycle to the ground and buckled a wheel in doing so. When I was his age, I went around collecting scrap parts to eventually build my own bike because my parents couldn't afford to buy me a bike.
I said to the boy, "Your Mam and Dad probably worked hard to buy that bike for you, aren't you ashamed of yourself for not taking care of it?"
He shouted at me, "Mind your own business you old fart (and other words), and go and sit with the rest of the wrinklies in the cafe."
My Dad would have leathered me if I'd been disrespectful like that boy.

Anyway, I'm about to sit down with a visitor to watch a few films and clink a glass or two.
