Well the storm that was predicted for last night never happened here, we got some rain though which has brought the temperature down to a pleasant 62 degrees. I'm going back to bed to catch up on all the sleep I've missed. 😊

Good morning slackers. Oh, there I go talking to myself again. I am a bit concerned this fine AM because I lost an hour. I finish my morning workout and breakfast about the same time every day. This morning, now sitting down, taking that first sip of poor girls latte (coffee hot choc mix), I notice the time is one hour later than usual.

It is puzzling and will go in my unsolved mysteries file. Another recent mystery, is a strange lump on my forehead with a small gash on it. I don't remember ever hitting my head and it doesn't look like an insect bite. It is getting better and responded to antibiotic creme, so I won't seek medical attention. The hubs suggest there is an insect that bites making a gash looking line.

Nice rain last night and looks like more today. Big range fire close by, but the rain saved the fighters from doing mopup. The air smells burnt and from the coughing I hear coming from the bedroom, I am going to guess the hubs will be complaining about his breathing when he gets up. I have to remind him about using his Albuterol.

Now, that another neighbor decided to get chickens, we have a morning war of the roosters crowing. I don't mind, until their vocal sparing gets the neighborhood dogs barking. Now the crows are getting in on the discussion and using fowl language. So much for enjoying the quiet of the early morning.

I've been having another root about in my shed today.

I found an old desktop computer with Windows XP on it, so, curious to see if it still worked I set it up on the bench.
It works fine and I've been having fun on it and found a huge amount of music stored on a second hard drive, so I've been playing lots of songs while I've been repairing things.
There is even software to convert the music onto CDs, so I'm chuffed with that too. 😊

Well, it's time for bed, so goodnight all, sleep sound. 😊
