Yesterday, with or without a mask on, the (I think) pollen made me sneeze so bad that I had to retreat back into the house, which is sad, because the garden looks so nice, the sun was out, absolutely perfect you would say, but no, I had to enjoy it from behind the windows.
The lovely lady from over the road (taking the mickey I'm sure) told me to put a peg on my nose, but to fully close up my nostrils would require 6 or 7 pegs, and I don't want to frighten all the wildlife looking like the monster from The Black Lagoon.
Any suggestions?

Had me going there for a minute, Tim! I had to look up what "taking the mickey" might mean in your part of the world. To me, a "mickey" is a drink laced with drugs... so "taking the mickey" would take on a whole different meaning than it does for you.
