Good News!! I just returned a baby home.

R.I.P. With Us In Spirit Only
We have community mail centers here where we live. On my way to get mail today, I found a kitten, about 10-12 weeks old. She was sitting in the shade by a car but kinda under the tires. I put my hand down and called her and she came to me. I put her in my car, got my mail and decided to cruise around a couple of blocks looking for the "lost Kitten" post. Nada. I decided to take her home and make up some "found kitten" posts. About a block and a half from my place I saw a lady with a little girl and she was looking and calling out. I rolled down my window and asked if they were OK and she said "we are looking for our Kitten, which got out early this morning". I held up the kitten and you should have seen those four eyeballs. She was so thankful and I felt so good getting that little kitten back home. This all just happened and I am still smiling. That kitten kinda took to me. She laid right in my lap. The lady said she was probably hungry too.

Onya Jim. I had the same experience with a little dog that was roaming near my house.
By cruising around in the car I found people out searching for it.
It does feel good when that happens.

That is wonderful... love stories like that.. We had that same experience with a beagle puppy a few years ago.. we even took him to the pound to see if he was microchipped.. he wasn't so we were going to keep him... but then we heard a man calling out.. and he was looking for his dog.. It was the beagle puppy... the man was so happy he burst into tears.. It made us feel so good.

It must be the time for rescuing lost pets ! Last week, we found a little fellow wandering sadly through the neighborhood. I posted pictures on craigslist, and put an ad on the local lost pet page on Facebook. It took about two days; but we got him reunited with his family. Those three little kids were just so happy to have their little dog back, and the father was almost in tears himself.
If we had not found the owner, we would have probably just kept him. he was a little fellow, and seemed to get along good with Chipper and Tootsie.

Nice going Jim, that's gotta feel good for all involved, two and four-legged. She took to you because she sensed you were a cat lover. :love_heart:

You were their hero Jim! Good for you for taking the time to look for those folks.
