Just two months after rolling back business restrictions, Texas report zero deaths and the lowest number of cases in 16 months. IMHO, those, more-prominent figures who heavily criticized the state for its "Neanderthal Thinking" might want to examine their own thought processes.

My state has 0 deaths also and our governor finally announced today the lifting of all covid restrictions beginning on May 29. 🤗
I am guessing your governor, like many politicians, was watching to see what would happen in Texas and Florida.

You're not out of the woods until you have 14 or so days without any new new cases as a result of community transmission, but still even one day without a single new case is worth celebrating. Just don't declare 'mission accomplished' too soon.
Given the centuries, long battle with influenza; mission accomplished statements are the stuff of political gas bags.
