Glad you're (mostly) ok, but I'd be pissed about having to replace the truck.
I guess not if she was DWI.I overheard one Highway Patrol officer tell the other that the other driver admitted going about 60. But, then she told the officer that she didn't remember anything...
Blood alcohol tests will be completed in the hospital, even if the police did not test. Depending on the circumstances and if this goes to court, police can, in some states, subpoena records of hospital blood work.she decided she needed to be transported to the hospital
I do, my wife's 2010 Subaru that we hung on to, after getting her a 2025 Subaru that has the latest safety features. The 2010 Subaru is still in excellent shape, and I enjoy driving it. I will need another truck, but I'm not in a hurry, may even consider an older truck that's been restored.I'm so sorry that happened to you Nathan! I'm glad you were not hurt any worse than you were, however. Airbags can cause injuries in and of themselves. I hope you get what's due from the insurance company. Do you have another vehicle?

You know the saying "feel like I been hit by a truck", when feeling ill? Well, I know how that feels to be hit in a truck, but by a Hyundai Santa Cruz.To a speedy recovery!
Looks like the other driver didn't let you complete your turn. Good thing you were hit in.a pick up truck and not a car
Yea, kinda of- I came down with a cold that's busy makin' my head and sinus' miserable, which takes away somewhat from my messed up elbow.
Hey JBR, just my left elbow, I don't know what it hit, but the joint is swollen and a big patch of skin got ripped off, making a bloody oozey wound that's difficult to care for. Then this pesky Spring cold....@Nathan, I haven't been on SF much lately. I just saw your post. How's the elbow (and the back pain) at this point? Improving, I hope. Speedy recovery, Nathan.
