Got me a new dilemma

Wife wants another 57 Chevy. Been looking at the choices. Narrowed down to 2 types.

The way to eliminate the dilemma is for her to pick out what she wants & you pay for it. Works every time for me.

Couldn't afford one even back then. So, I bought a 2 dr. wagon, cut the wheel wells and painted her grabber blue. 327 w/ 4 speed.

Oh Boy! A car thread. I did several car restorations before I had my accident. I remember my first job when I had my first customer coming for his car at 10 the next morning and I was all done, except to finish putting on the linkage for the three carbs. It was 10 at night and I had everything laid out, so all I had to do was hook up the linkage and time the engine. I figured 1 hour and that’s it.
At 4 in the morning I’m still looking for a jesus pin. At 5:20 I finally found one under the car. I knew I had enough, but I must have dropped one. I finished the car just after 6 and went to bed for 3 hours.

After I reconstructed (different from restored) a red MGB roadster for my wife, I got her a personalized license tag that said "MUMSY".
Our son who was then in college loved to come home and borrow that roadster, but he truly hated that license tag.
