Hello. This forum site looks pretty special, as I browse around. Thank you for making it so easy to join up. :)

I'm Hoppy, an old fashioned type of person in most ways, but at the same time very accepting and interested in new things and new
people.

I'll be 69 years old this coming March. I'm healthy and work out and walk and have a lot of fun every day. I love riding my bicycle
around the lake here in town, etc. I'm also a sky diver with 404 jumps at the moment. Waiting for jump weather here where I live.

Enough about me... hoping to make a few friends chatting around here. Thank you again for the very easy registration!

Hello Hoppy and welcome to the forum! We're hoppy to have you stop by. You might say that registering here is jump #405!:)

Hey what a great group welcome! Thank you all.

Pappy, that is a site for sore eyes. I think I'd be wearing that watch, whether it works or not.

Thank you for the welcome, rkunsaw. I do not use the name "Hoppy" at any other forum.

Thanks again, all. You've made me feel very welcome here. I'm here mostly for looking at and sharing pics and memories of things and places
from the 40s, 50s and 60s. Well, not so much the 60s. Maybe the early 60s. I made myself laugh with that one. ;)

Hi, Lady. Thanks for the welcome!

Yeah, the mishaps in skydiving are most often fatal. But statistically it's a safe sport. I won't name the sports and other activities that
have proven more fatal and dangerous, because that gets a debate going. Suffice it to say I love skydiving and I let Mother Nature lead
in that dance. ;)
