Guess Who We're Babysitting Again?!!!!!

We watched him during his Daddy's last vacation. This weekend was a surprise. He is such a mellow little guy. We'll be so happy to see him again:D

So sweet. My first dog was a Beagle and looked quite a bit like yours. He was a vegetarian, not that I planned it that way. We gave him Kennel Ration canned dog food but he would steal tomatoes from the garden, loved lettuce and would actually pick blackberries. He would curl his lips up so he wouldn't get stuck with the thorns. So funny to watch. .

Ruth, we had a Cairn Terrier when I was a child. He would eat the wild strawberries in the backyard, strip the sour cherries off the lower branches of the tree, and steal peaches and apricots out of the boxes during canning season. He also thought he was cat, and would stalk you, staring you fixedly in the eye. Lol.

I miss having a dog, but a dog would scare off the wild turkeys.

We have tons of wild turkeys-and two dogs. Dogs totally ignore them. The cats used to stalk them but I think every one of them got their butts kicked at least once and don`t mess with them now. The turkeys (and two peacocks) wander around in the donkey`s paddock with her,all of them grazing together.

The dogs can ignore the turkeys, but the turkeys would be terrified of the dogs. They are scared of the neighbors' dogs. The turkeys have no other place to live. We are the invaders here.

So cute, I remember his Daddy saying don't let him pull you. Our dogs can pull you flat to the pavement. Sophie is people shy and dog aggressive. Callie doesn't like human male strangers. This pup is the most easygoing guy on walks. If his Dad walked our dogs...he might never recover;)
