Guilty or Not Guilty

Not guilty

Your car is more than 5 years old. (Mine is 8! But the mileage is still under 3000. So it thinks it's a kid.)

Not guilty .....I would have but not now, it would finish my back off...

On a road trip of under 8 hours you will typically stop only once at service station to stretch your legs

Not guilty

You can figure out how the new Windows word processing system works. (I finally landed on a button that asks if you want to go back to the old system. If you say, "YES!" they want to know why. But even though I didn't answer, they put me back to the old system, thank God. I wonder how many people like the new one.)

Not guilty because I have never regretted changing 8 years ago from Microsoft to Apple....

Your children have told you they don't want your stuff when you leave this earthly plane

Not guilty, but it's pretty clear that other than a few items, they mostly do not. Their houses are pretty well set. However...

Your grandchildren may be interested in a lot of your stuff when you leave this earthly plane.

Not guilty. Maybe just a little of it. I've put in my will that I want each of them to take at least one of the works of art that my husband (their grandfather) created. My children already have more than enough of it, and they are trying to get rid of stuff themselves.

You can play bridge.

Guilty

You have tuned in to some movies on TV which you ended up not liking at all, but you stuck with them to the end anyway.

Guilty, but only recently due to it being too hot or raining to go outside to do yard jobs.

You love where you live.

Yes and no. The Washington, DC area is not exactly a place that many people "love;" they moved here because of their jobs. I have loved other places where I've lived more. But I do love the building I live in, with its active, friendly social life. And I think this is the most interesting "over 55" community I have ever heard of.

You have recently been to a live performance in a park or theatre.

Guilty, pretty much. Not fancy cooking, mostly just everyday stuff.

You prefer a dishwasher to hand-washing dishes.
