Gulf Coast, Beware: Here Comes Sally

Storm expected to make landfall as a hurricane early Tuesday

Just what the Gulf Coast didn't want: another hurricane. Sally earned the designation Monday with winds of up to 85mph, says the National Hurricane Center. The storm is expected to make landfall as a Category 2 hurricane early Tuesday in southeastern Louisiana, though it's still too early to predict a spot, reports USA Today.

It is now turning toward Mississippi. There is a gang of storms systems in the Atlantic now. The National Hurricane Center is out of names for them. Vicki is the last.

Well, then the National Hurricane Center could start adding numbers to the original names such as Vicki2. Remember the space program did that with their flight names.

Now they're saying Wednesday afternoon for landfall. Lots of rain and storm surge expected. AND there are eight more storms lined up in the Atlantic.

I can't wait for 2020 to be over.

Never wish away time ........ once ts gone, its gone.

Hurricane Sally brought to my mind the song, "Mustang Sally." Just change the lyrics to, "She better slow her high winds down..." 🎶
