Halloween: let the countdown begin

In my development, we have an over 55 section and another section for families. I drive back through it now and then and if I see the older boys playing basketball, I sometimes try to join in. They are good about letting me play. The neighbors here in the over 55 section told me that if I turn my porch light on, the kids will knock on my door for trick or treating. I didn’t have that at the last place where I lived. They tell me the kids like Reese’s peanut butter cups and Kit Kats.

I bought 2 boxes of each. That’s 48 candy bars. The neighbors I spoke with said they get about 20-30 kids. I hope I have enough.
Maybe I should get one of those big bags with small candy bars in it. Whatever is left I will donate to the senior center here.
