Halloween

I carve pumpkins and put them on our front porch. Then we look forward to all the 'Trick or Treat'' kids that show up...fun to see all the little kids having fun!
 

Out in the rural area we don't have trick or treaters, but some people put up some decorations. We live Halloween in the digital way. Pictures, messages ,and videos. :)
 
The last time I shelled out there weren't very many kids. I usually go to my daughter's place and grandkids go out but now the older one stopped this year (he is 13 yrs old). The other one is 10 yrs old and we may go if the weather is nice otherwise we stay in the basement where out tv is.
 
No, not for some years. I enjoy people's decorations but I can't stand those huge balloon creatures on the lawns.

I have an autumn wreath and a jack-o-lantern on the front step, but being alone, I don't have the light on anymore. Very few kids here, anyway.
 
No I don't celebrate halloween not since I was a kid and went out trick-a-treating ... and bobbing for apples..

Kids come around every year .. and the road is actually alive with children on the night of Halloween...

This year I've decorated for Halloween.. wreath on the door.. Autumn decor in the livingroom around the fireplaces ..
 
I try to make a nice meal; Hungarian beef goulash and pumpkin or apple pie. I light black and orange candles in honor of loved ones who have crossed over, and we watch as many scary movies as possible, while stuffing ourselves with popcorn.
