Im of the view that everyone has at least one issue even if it is a tiny one. And I am aware that some regard seeing a counsellor as a waste of time.
Ive been maybe 20 times in my life to a counsellor. If i had enough money id see one every week.
I dont think friends are enough. Sometimes they are either too blunt in their advice or dont challenge us t
I would like to see one now to help me set goals for my last 20 years of life. Never too late to have goals. Finding a good counsellor , a suitable one, is crucial.
I would probably prefer a Christian one but maybe it doesnt matter.

I once used a counsellor to face a relationship problem at work. it was one of my wiser decisions. it helped enormously to have a mentor to help me through it.

Most people have at least one type of mental disorder or have had in their life at some point in time. Depression, after all, is considered one.
The human brain is fragile and vulnerable.
No hands up here.
I’ve got plenty of issues.

And just because a peson has good coping skills under stress at work or family pressures doesnt mean they dont have underlying issues. For example fear of showing any vulnerability might be a problem in personal relationships.

OH...oh...I made a poster about this awhile back
