Coles and Woolies in OZ have 'em on the shelves 3 days into 2014.

Maybe we should think about combining Xmas,NY and Easter and run them on 3 consecutive days so they can save on advertising, make all their profit at once and just close down for the rest of the year!

Hey, I want Valentine's Day too! Or, more specifically, ANTI-Valentine's Day (A VD) - celebrate it every year without fail as part of Philstivus. You send "I Hate You" cards to everyone and buy them chocolate-covered ants and ragweed.

Yes all Easter Buns are cooked and in freezer storage ready for Easter, they put some out for sale

Ash Wednesday is March 4 and Pancake Day (Shrove Tuesday) is the day before.
Lent follows until Good Friday on April 18. Time enough then for Hot Cross Buns if you are a purist.

Don't buy them if you have any objections but I rather like spicey fruit buns.
You can get them all year round in Sydney at the fresh bread shops.

I've never been able to try the chocolate chip variety.
That is just wrong.
