Has everyone who is going to get a stimulus

No, we have not received ours yet. My mother received a check in the mail 2 days ago and both of my brothers and their spouses received a direct deposit 3 days ago. Last time my husband's went in via direct deposit after about a month. I had to wait at least 2 months for a paper check. I wonder if it's being done by region or last name. I can't find out anything from "Get My Payment" either.

I got my stimulus money January 1. I have assisted a lot of people this week in finding out what happened to theirs. I find it pitiful that the IRS will not answer telephone calls to help people. I spoke to the State Department of Revenue and it came up in conversation the number of calls they are handling because the IRS isn't answering ANY calls, even from state revenue offices. I know the IRS is not responsible for the stimulus, the Treasury Department is..... but grief... open up those local tax offices closed because of covid and hire some people to answer telephones.

We will get ours via direct deposit. Guess I just wanted to be first in line, darn it 😂

I tried looking on the trace your check thing...nada. Guess I will just have to be patient...which has never been one of my strongest virtues đŸ„Ž

I checked the IRS web site this morning, and it said the checks were mailed yesterday....we should have them within the next couple of days. We don't need it, but the grandkids are still making mortgage payments, so we'll give it to them...a house payment and some groceries.

Relief check, gotten theirs? Everyone here that I know has...and we still haven’t đŸ˜©. Would really like to have it before I schedule cataract surgery.
even if you have to talk to "Sammy the Shark"... GET THE CATARACT SURGERY!! i got glasses right at the end of 2nd grade. spend the whole summer with SORE SORE ears trying to get used to the ear pieces. i was in HEAVEN. for the first time that i could remember i could see details at anything ... like "social distanced" away. that was 1957!!!

this past July, i had right eye fixed. got ride to eye center. there were a lot of people, so it became an all day thing. in hind sight a real covid moment. absolutely NO discomfort at all except for about 30-60 seconds when my head was strapped into position... a touch of claustrophobia set in.

woke up n ext morning, drove myself to ophthalmologist ,,, 20/20 vision! i do need readers... a separate vision issue. i still reach for glasses first/last thing of the day. those grooves behind my ears... still there but slowly fading.

Definitely! My wife had cataract surgery and her sight is much better as a result. She had one eye done because it was "fogged over". She waited a couple of years for the second open to get bad enough and got that one done too. The VA checks my eyes once a year and said that in a few years, I will be due for the same thing. Fortunately, I can get it done through the VA.

oh, that stimulus check! i got the first one back in spring, no problem. then went into unemployment hell. went from mid-march until last week with no $$ coming. there's literally NOBODY at unemployment to call and talk to. there are a handful of UI people working from home using their own phones & email accounts. they will NOT tell you their full names nor contact info. makes sense but what ASS-HAT didn't see that problem coming?? i wrote LETTERS (remember those things) to every one from governor on down. Roxanne is an absolutely life saver! last week, all on same day, got ONE check for $256, TWELVE checks for $512 each, ONE check for $3600 for that supplemental UI.

and got recently stimulus check (for $600) without doing a thing.

i worked as a teacher aide (special needs HS kids). during that last week of regular-ness, teachers, secretaries, administrators were sometimes literally running up and down hallways collecting info on kids who might not either have a computer at home (go get the Chromebooks) or internet access.

I see that they are sending some payments out as prepaid debit cards again. Reports say that they may not pay you the same way as last time, so don't think that because you got a check last time you will automatically get a check this time. There seems to be no rhyme nor reason as to the form of payment. Last time, some people threw the debit cards away thinking they were junk mail. So for anyone who hasn't received their check yet, check your mail closely in case you get one of the debit cards.
