Has this ever happened to you? Email saying they have a video taken from my computer camera.

Yes, I've gotten a record number of these emails. I purposely didn't give them any money because I'm interested in seeing the video they have of me watching porn (the Internet is for porn don't ya know). They don't have such a video of course, they're just interested in separating us from our money. They'll never get a copper cent from me, and I doubt I'll ever see the video they constantly threaten me with but it helps to keep the boredom at bay. By the way, if you were to give them money, that wouldn't stop the emails, just saying (if you paid once, you might pay again). Also, it's people that fall for these kinds of things that keep them doing what they're doing. If no one paid them, they might be motivated to get into a legitimate line of work .

How do you get them to automatically go into your spam folder. I always have to do it myself,or do you put it in yourself when you don't know the email sender ?

Like Pinky said, a vast majority automatically go straight to the spam folder, which I "delete all" about once a week. The rest I just delete without opening. I do this almost every day in all inboxes, usually from my phone. Easy Peasy.

The email that is circulating the most right now states that they have been monitoring your online use and have noticed that you have visited numerous porn sites. Unless you want us to send this out to the people on your contact list, which we have also gained access to, you will need to contact us immediately by replying back through this email.

Of course, this is a fake email. No one that is not in possession of a search warrant may monitor your online activity. There are some people that take these emails very seriously and will do as they are instructed. This email has been generated from a scam artist offshore.

You may want to report this email to your local police. Some police departments do keep a list of these types of emails and also some police departments will forward them to the FBI or other law enforcement agency because there are now international laws in place that allows the FBI to go after these deviate predators. What we recommend doing is to ignore the email and never open an email that you do not recognize the sender. You may continue to receive more of these same e-mails, but they will eventually stop.
