Have You Bought Anything for YOURSELF This Christmas?

Could not afford to get everyone I know like family and friends anything for Christmas. I figured if I bought for one I'd have to buy for all.

Anyhow I really needed a new one so this is my Christmas gift to myself:

A new heating pad! I guess you know your getting up there when the things you get yourself are cold packs, braces, and heating pads...LOL:p:LOL:

It has 7 heat settings and shuts off after 5 hours. I had it on #5 and ooh did it get hot! Felt good too on my back!


Did you get YOURSELF anything?

Hubs and I decided we weren't buying for each other this year... but I've bought him Jeans and a jumper, only cuz he always needs them, but he has everything he wants already, ... but I don't so, I will have to have a little think and buy myself something.. 🤩🎁

A new microwave is always something one needs. I bought one 2 Christmases ago with a gift card I got. Yes, do get yourself something special you really want. (y) ;)

I didn't really need it tbh...I just wanted a change from my cream coloured one to a stainless steel one... 🥰

We're possibly going to Amsterdam next week for a couple of days, maybe I'll find something there..,

Ruthanne, I got everyone a credit card knife as a happy and put them in cute gift card holders. Got a pack of 10 for $15.00. They're so convenient for cutting through all the insane packaging stuff comes in these days. Can't even get a hair clippy off the card without a sharp blade.

I haven't bought anything for myself. I really don't need a present. I tell my children not to give me anything ,I just want to see them and get kisses. No present is better than that. I'm pretty close to being done shopping for the family and friends. I only have to figure out what to give my Hubby. I want to give him something really special because he deserves it.

Well, TBH, I really didn't get myself a Christmas gift but my back's been killing me and my old heating pad was dangerous it was so old. My brother actually paid for it. :sneaky: In my opinion, tho, nothing wrong with anyone who Does want to get themselves something~:p:giggle::cool:☃
 
I made myself a big batch of gluten free chocolate chip cookies. After the holidays I want to get one of those grabber/reacher tools.

A couple of years back my son remodeled my kitchen. He made the cabinets go right up to the ceiling. I was so happy I didn't have to climb up on the counter top to clean anymore.

Problem is I loaded the top shelf with items I don't use very often but once in awhile I have to get the step stool to get these things down.

I figure I'll replace the items on top with lighter things and use the grabber to get them down when needed. No more step stool,I hope.
 
Yes! Since my husband started a small kitchen fire and burnt our old kitchen cupboards we are building a brand new kitchen. This week we are putting in the ceramic floor, then my husband is moving our sink so doing some plumbing. Then we are going to purchase the bottom cupboards, put in a backsplash , add the top cupboards and move the ceiling fan. It’s a lot of work but I’m so glad those old cupboards got ruined enough to need new ones. 🥰 😅

I agree with you Ruthanne,I don't think there is anything wrong with someone who wants to give themselves something. I just really don't like being given a gift. I hate to see someone spending money on me. I rather just be in their company.
 
No I haven't bought anything for myself for Xmas. I'll take care of everyone else and enjoy their joy and company. My car requires major repairs almost every winter and I need to be aware of and save for that because I do need my wheels. Too much.....

That's not my car but you get the idea, and yes, it can get that bad here and frequently does. Happy Holidays anyway!
