As an elementary school student . at Clemson university in SC . I only remember I loved it. Would love to go to another one.
currently blessed in living where we have a pretty good view of the night sky.

Yes, we have one here in town. I haven't been for years, though.

And I've been to the Griffith Observatory, but during the daytime so I didn't see the stars, at least the ones up in the sky. Come to think of it, I didn't see the ones down on the ground, either, except for the flat ones on the sidewalk.

Yes .. decades ago. I recall being mesmerized. I'm sure our Planetarium has been upgraded since I was there.

I've been to the Hayden Planetarium many times. It is located in the Museum of Natural History in NYC. And it is always educational.

Our county's college also has a terrific planetarium.

OMG I love planetariums soooo much. Maybe bc I'm from NY and we took field trips to the Hayden annually. Now I live near the Chabot, in Oakland, only went once.

We have a very large Botanical Garden in St. Louis, basically an all-day walk in there.

Yes, some years ago, I was at Moody Gardens, Galveston, Texas, where there are 3 glass pyramids - the Aquarium Pyramid, the Rainforest Pyramid, and the Discovery Pyramid. So, a planetarium, with much else beside.

Yes, the Link Planetarium in Binghamton, NY. Many times over the years. Also to the Hayden Planetarium in NY a couple of times.

The Adler Planetarium in Chicago on school field trips. I think I went to a Planetarium in Toronto on vacation, but not positive.

Been to one? I've operated one! Years ago, there was a small planetarium in what was called "The Junior Museum" in Troy NY (now renamed and relocated). The former building is now a private residence (108 2nd Ave, Troy, NY). My mom signed me up to take lessons on operating the mechanism. I did give a few shows. There is also one in Schenectady that I went to once when dating in college. Even that's probably changed since then.

I attended one in my youth. Didn't find it very engaging.

I was more impressed with the actual night sky in Booth Bay Harbor, ME many years later. It still blows my mind to remember the millions of stars I saw that night.

Yes! I went to The McLaughlin Planetarium in Toronto. It closed in 1995. I loved it.

When I was a kid, I lived just 1 block away from the Hayden Planetarium in NYC. Every month I'd go with my friends to watch the night sky in that planetarium.

Nobody mentioned them bringing in a hand size mirror to the planetarium. Why? Because when one of the stars hits you you can reflect it on to the ceiling as a star...and then move it around the sky and everyone can see it, but nobody knows who is doing it. Oh, what fun.
