Have you ever done your Ancestry

I know some folks have gotten less than welcome surprises. No such luck with mine, I was kind of hoping to find an unknown half sibling or something, but no. Would have made it more interesting.

I suppose that is often true, still if I had a previously unknown close relative I think I would want to know.

Yep, American Indian on both sides, German Sinti (Romani) (Gypsy), French, Scottish, and Swiss Dutch. I have traced some of it back to the 1600s. I am a mixed breed and proud of all of it.

There are a few holes in my ancestry. Mostly Scots, Irish, English and German ... maybe a little Dutch
But I've managed to track my ancestry back to a fella named Adam and a gal, Eve.
Don't know much about them but have read they once had a beautiful garden.

My late sister claimed to have done a complete job on our history. She is gone now, and I still have no interest in knowing about it. We are all 'mutts' or mixed breeds...so it is just no matter to me...
