Have you ever had to determine...

Why do you say Zelenskyy isn't trustworthy?

NOTE: I don't expect a response to that question.
I would have gladly answered your question, until I read the last line. It’s my opinion that you’re looking for a fight and truthfully, I have been in politics for over 40 years and I know when someone is laying down the bait. You will have to debate yourself on this one.

The USA we once knew is gone.
Maybe the Usians will bring it back, maybe they won't.
I'd never heard the term "Usian" before. Actually, I think it's spelled USian. I wonder why the U.S. never got a proper name.

Constant change is probably the only 'constant' the US has ever known, so yeah, the USA we once knew is gone. I'm not sure what version of the U.S. we should return to. The '90s was a pretty good decade...

My camp is a senior citizens book club that meets at the town library one afternoon each week with a couple of excessively theatrical members.

Recently when reading passages out loud from the book ‘Child 44’ about a Stalin era Russian agent they decided to use what they thought were great Russian accents.

Then when reading passages out loud from ‘Shadow Dancer’ about the IRA in Belfast they tried sounding Irish.

Some people have theatrical talent and definitely belong on stage, and some definitely belong behind the scenes.
Same thing with books on tape/cd. Some of the readers should NOT attempt an accent. There is nothing more annoying than someone poorly imitating an accent.

@KSav...  It's a "word"... that..in ANY situation of choice...you "pick a side"
Is that 'clear'?😉

So many "camps", so little time to camp.

They range from trivial (Camp Hellmans or Camp Duke....but mayonnaise is never trivial to a Southerner) to middlin' (Camp Dog or Camp Cat) to  really big'uns ( politics, politics and more politics).

So, the big question is: can you share a fire and some s'mores with the folks in the next camp over yonder?
Sorry, but I'm in the "I don't care for s'mores" camp. How about biscotti instead?

What is the old expression..something like..
"it's all in the eye of the beholder"
And in this present world once someone finds what 'camp' you're in it's a precursor to a fist in your eye. Along with law and order, tolerance is dead - especially in regard to those who ceaselessly preach 'tolerance'.

is this a thread with a hinted or implied meaning??

am not really understanding what we are being asked.

Reading it at face value - no, not really a camper. Prefer glamping.

Have you ever had to determine...

which 'camp' you're in?

And..

Was it The right choice?
Which camp am I in? I don't camp. I'll be at the Radisson ordering room service if you'd like to join me. It's definitely the right choice. I don't like sleeping on the ground, and besides, they have a bar.

Ooooh, a happy camper, I'll have a King Alphonse with S'mores and a candy cigarette

There are many that are born into a camp, religion springs to mind. Think how many factions there are just in Christianity.
Where I grew up as a child the mayor lived in the same road, his kids were all born into his political camp.

A camp that I am much more in tune with is the term: "Camping it up:" That is, to make an extravagant display, the way that some actors often camp it up, when they are trying to be more dramatic . Originating in the 1950's as slang for flamboyant behaviour, stereotypically associated with gay men, this term began to be used more loosely around the 1970's.

Many in the world today are asking themselves which camp to be in, the USA is forging new alliances and losing old ones .
The message from the former allies to the Usians is that we can do without USA but how will the USA do without the rest of the world.
As Robin Horsfall says in his Substack, a tsunami of change is coming.
