Di is running her own very small forum now and I am in contact with her. She is as irascible as ever. She and I joust every day and she says she values our encounters because they animate her. It is our very different views on matters political that fuel our conversations.

Holly,when I joined AARP forum in 2012 started out fine,there were private groups you could join along with the ones opened for everybody.The adminstrators decided to change the format ,without notifying us.All the groups were now open to everybody,that did not sit well with many people.A few long time posters who had started the private groups left
Another problem was the 'Current Events/Politics thread, there were alot angry/disgruntled people who posted regularly there.One time I made the mistake of posting there, which in no way was negative to whatever the thread was.I was appalled when a few of the posters made some nasty comments I notified the adminstrators with my displeasure,they never got back to me in a timely manner
I had a problem with a long time poster who 'stole' my original idea in the TV section.I publically&privately told her off,she denied she did this,she was well known on the forum as being not a nice person.After that,I resigned from the the site,cancelled my AARP subscription came here , what a wonderful experience Its been ever since Sue

You will see 25 of your posts starting with the latest

Go to the bottom of the page and select Next.

Keep working your way backwards until you come to your first post. That should be your introduction, if you actually made one.
