6 years ago my cpap machine rotted my teeth from the inside out. Before it was noticeable the damage was beyond repair. I have implants on the bottom and a denture on top.
I had my tonsils out at seven and never forgave everyone for lying to me about being able to eat all the ice cream I wanted. My throat was so sore I could hardly swallow due to the pain.Had mine out in my teens .. it was a pretty painful recuperation

People at my work place were looking everywhere for the tip of my finger, not knowing it was completely squashed out of existence.

It only hurt bad for a few minutes. The numbness set in for about 4 hours. Started to wear off while I was at hospital waiting to been seen.

OMG! How could i forget teeth?At last! ONE thing I can be thankful for, I have all my body parts! oh except a bunch of teeth.
Maybe because they aren't there from start and we all lose the 'baby' and have adult ones come in??

I lost my big toe on the right foot to a bicycle chain when I was five, all my teeth at different times, and part of my stomach to Cancer so far that's all.

Yes, I had my tonsils out at 18 and I can still remember the pain and sitting in bed knowing my mom was going to bring in some applesauce and make me eat it -- and crying in dread.Had mine out in my teens .. it was a pretty painful recuperation
I'm missing my medial collateral ligament from my left knee so every time I take a step my leg bows in a little. You can't tell it's gone by looking at me but I miss it a lot.

Mostly all that's been removed is my appendix. I can think of more than a few parts I'd like to get rid of, though.

No I never had any pain at all. I went to the dentist every 3 months for a cleaning and checkup. It cost 33k to have a permanent implant supported denture installed for my bottom teeth. The top would have been 50k so I opted for a regular denture. A regular denture on the bottom is very hard to keep in place because you donāt have suction. On top itās not an issue.

middle part of my right leg is now metal with arthritis in it hurts 24/7 pain level about a 3-4 soreness level about a 5-6...

Other than a few teeth, all my parts are still there........just not in the same condition they used to be. Plenty of scars and mended bones.
I even still have all my hair....just not where it's supposed to be.

I've got a severe case of AMD (Advanced Macular Degeneration)
Doc says I probably won't go totally blind
Peripheral vision is still there
But just can't focus on anything directly ahead without a high powered flashlight
Morning wakeup (after my eyes are rested) is best
Sunny days don't do me any favors (and I'm an outside guy)
No reading until I'm inside for an hour or so
I have a lot of tiny high powered flashlights' strategically placed
There's worse maladies
Just happy for audio books
Studying my large print Bible takes a flashlight and mag glass

They have these free on Craigslist sometimes - the small versions.he can have an Organ if he's missing one...I don't mind chipping in...
