Have You Tried Aldi's Food Delivery?

Just an update that I said I'd give on the Chipolte Black Bean Burgers and Provolone Cheese I got. The BB Burgers are very good and the cheese is provolone which is okay. I'm not a big fan of provolone. Next time I'm getting the Havarti Cheese--I like that more.🤪

Ruthanne,

Another no meat option from Aldi is the: Earth Grown Vegan Meat Free Chickenless Patties.

I'm not sure how healthy they are but they taste like many of the frozen breaded chicken patties on the market today. I tried them in a sandwich and also as a sort of chickenless parmesan with tomato sauce and cheese.

I saw that online and thought I will get them next time. I just ordered a whole bunch of food that got delivered a few minutes ago. I'm not vegan or vegetarian but I do like to have my meatless meals too. Thank you AB! That chickenless parmesan with tomato sauce and cheese sounds yummy!

Today I also ordered western ribs and chicken. They look very fresh and so do all the veggies I got. The shopper did very well for me. I'm so glad I don't have to go shopping if I don't want to now.

If you can't drive, you still have to eat. I haven't used Aldi's, but when I was living in Allentown, PA, I used the local market, Weis.. The added cost really wasn't that much more when you take into account the cost of owning and using a car. I have now, moved back to the sticks, where home delivery does not exist. Thankfully I can still drive. Hopefully the service will be around here, when I can't drive anymore. There isn't an army of folks ready to go grocery shopping for you.

I have had home delivery twice now. Both times all went well, exception being one time more bananas than ordered [no big deal] . They will deliver beer, with an age verifying box checked. [To be expected] . It too is a second party 'instacart' .

When [hopefully temporarily] somewhat immobilized it is a much appreciated service.

We don't have Aldi here, but I used to shop there, and really liked it.

My daughter-in-law used to have Food Lion deliver and loved it, at first. Then she became really irritated with it.

We now both use Walmart, and love the convenience. You have to pick it up yourself, but it's really been a big help. It's great for her because she has two small children. I'm just lazy haha. I do like to shop, but I'm too much of an impulse buyer. Heck, I have a hard time restricting myself even with the ordering.
Oh my gosh I just went back in time I remember Food Lion! I love that store

It's funny how the Aldi's can differ yet remain the same depending on where you're situated. I suppose it has to reflect the local tastes. For example, the Aldi's in Spain sell similar to the British stores ..but then a lot more fresh shellfish fish, and more Local tastes, ergo more varieties of ingredients for stews (lentils, black beans, giant lima beans) etc.. I suppose Aldi in the USA would reflect the taste of different states.. spicier and hotter down South for example...

Kroger will deliver for 10.95 and pu is 4.95. I use pu since my fall I don't feel like getting out. Only used 3 times and each time I call as I get an email if they need to sub anything. Cokes were on sale last week and I only wanted vanilla coke, not regular coke or Kroger brand of vanilla cola. I had a friend picking up for me so I called and made sure they had the vanilla coke and were not going to sub. He said they had it and it was a good thing I called as vanilla coke is very popular there and he got it as soon as the coke man got there since they go fast. I had made the order a couple of days ahead of time so that helped. We have a small Aldi's here but I have not gone there yet.
