Have you tried this? How did it go?
My blood test revealed I was low in testosterone. I give myself injections of synthetic t. After 4 weeks I do feel better in general and I have a significant increase in energy. I think it also lowered my ongoing paina notch or two.

So, for me, so far, so good. :)

Older studies discourage testosterone therapy for men with BPH and / or prostate cancer, while some newer studies indicate otherwise, or even the opposite. I've had an elevated PSA and BPH for years, so I would not consider it, as long as an ongoing debate remains among medical professionals.

My husband has done testosterone pellets for the last 12 years with good results. Dr. Glaser does blood work, which includes a PSA, once a year to monitor everything. Whenever he had a joint replaced, the doctor made sure his hormones was where they should be for good healing. It's made a difference in his life as he got older.

She also recommends hormone treatment for women & I've done it for same amount of time. It helped going through menopause.

Dr. Glaser listens to what you have to say & asks questions to get you on the right track. Her past work as a doctor in the cancer field led her to hormone replacement. She referred one our friends, who had a brain tumor, to a doctor that saved her life. My GYN has the highest regard for her.

Several other people we know go there & it was one couple who introduced us to the practice.
