Having another car problem

Hi,
After letting the screw soak up a bit of oil, get the proper size screwdriver and place in the X (assume its Phillips but it might be Torx). When the screwdriver is firmly seated, lightly hit the end of the driver with a small hammer several times. This can often free up whatever is holding it in there.

If that doesn't work, I would use a power driver with the proper bit in it.

I did put penetrating oil on it Monday. I also tried the screwdriver tapping, but it won't budge. I'll probably end up going to a garage - again. They have the tools and hand strength. Also, if they break something, they have to fix it.

Yes, I'm sadly learning about diminished and strength.

One way to magnify it is to take a long pair of pliers (or comparable) and with one hand pushing down on the screwdriver, the other hand can attempt to turn it using the pliers (on the screwdriver handle).

I tried again after more penetrating oil and screw tapping. Not budging. I wonder if they tightened that screw with a pneumatic wrench?
