That is great, glad to hear that. But I wonder how things are in rural Hazard County, in Kentucky ? Or Nye County, in Nevada ? I think those Americans aren't getting such care .Wow! We have the same conveniences stated in your first 3 paragraphs here in the US also! I know as I just used them all a few days ago.
Yes. Here is an explanation about how the University Health Network operates. UHN includes 7 Toronto area hospitals, all of whom are teaching hospitals, associated with the University of Toronto's School of Medicine. Toronto General was recently rated by the World Health Organization as the number two hospital in the WORLD.Do you have a health portal that allows all that to come to your computer?
Oh and by the way UHN provides in person translation services in 145 different languages. JIMB>Yes. Here is an explanation about how the University Health Network operates. During the year 2025, I spent over 300 days as a patient, in three of the UHN hospitals. Toronto General, Toronto Rehabilitation Hospital, and Bridgepoint Hospital. My care was excellent , and my transfers to another facility were seamless. I am now at home since March the 6th of this year. I have a PSW and a RN who come in every day of the week, to look after me.
The cost for all of that care ? Zero, Zilch, Nada, nothing. Health care in Canada is supported by ALL of us, who pay taxes. JIMB.
Look into it. All of my Docs say the same thing.........A well informed patient is a good thing. My Wife maintains a running spreadsheet that details every medication I take, who prescribed it, when prescribed, the amount taken per day, and any recent changes. If I go to see a new Doc, the first thing we do is hand over that medical information sheet for them to read and ask questions about it. It saves time, and the Doc makes a copy and includes it in my chart with them. Communication is the key.I know we have a health portal but I've never messed with it. I may hafta find out about it.
