Gardenlover, bitters is traditionally an alcoholic preparation flavored with botanical matter so that the end result is characterized by a bitter, sour, or bittersweet flavor. Numerous longstanding brands of bitters were originally developed as patent medicines, but now are sold as digestifs, sometimes with herbal properties, and cocktail flavorings. Since cocktails mainly contain sour and sweet flavors, bitters are used to engage another primary taste and thereby balance out the drink and make it more complex, giving it a more complete flavor profile. What is bitters?
There are two kinds of chocolate (not counting "White Chocolate which isn't really chocolate).I keep some no sugar added fruit snack cups in the fridge for an easy dessert.
One of my not so healthy but small indulgences is 3 or 4 dark chocolate baking chips. I put them in my mouth one at a time and let them melt. It only takes 3 or 4 to get the same sensation/satisfaction that I get by gobbling down a whole candy bar.

@Ruth n Jersey Thank you the information. I learned something new today.Gardenlover, bitters is traditionally an alcoholic preparation flavored with botanical matter so that the end result is characterized by a bitter, sour, or bittersweet flavor. I don't drink but love the flavor. I buy the kind shown in the photo.
I didn't know white chocolate wasn't really chocolate, but now that you mentioned it - it makes sense. The second thing I learned today. There are two kinds of chocolate (not counting "White Chocolate which isn't really chocolate).
Milk chocolate is mostly sugar - which is why chocolate gets a bad rap.
Dark chocolate - especially the ones with at least 72% cocoa - is actually low in sugar & very high in antioxidants - even higher than fruits & vegetables. Dark chocolate is very good for the heart.
Compare the labels on milk chocolate and dark chocolate; you'll find a big difference in the sugar & carbs.
